more air/airflow=richer air fuel ratio/more power?
i own yamaha fz150i it is fuel injection motorcycle, and is the same bike with yamaha yzf r125 that produces in europe. Recently i bought a cone K & N air filter and attached it to the throttle body by removing factory airbox. I notice it accelerate alot better. What does this means ? is it more airflow means ricer AFR or what ? I dont think this bike has O2 wideband sensor in it, but it has pressure and humidity sensor.

Its general theory of a combution engine. The more airflow, the better the engine's going to run, but its all give and take as well. If you want more air, you have to give up gas, and the same does with exhaust, and rejetting, or having to use a power commander. If you want better exhaust flow, you have to give up fuel and re-map. Thats why porting heads, and bigger cams make a bike run faster, more airflow. Give the engine air, and it will always like you better.
