I have polished aluminum Valve covers and i bought pink spray paint for chromed parts how will the color look?
I have polished aluminum Valve covers and i bought pink spray paint, but i noticed that it says for chrome. Sooo my question is, is that will the paint look the same color as it should on polished aluminum? because it looks darker on metal then what it should really be.
you NEED to use primer, just some gray metal primer, I've tried to do this before and the paint bubbled up and loooked like crap, take your time, put on three even coats of METAL PRIMER let dry in a garage or some place where its not dusty, then get some tack cloth and right after get the Pink paint and spray it on, and also get all the paint from somewere other than a department store like walmart, NAPA has great stuff good luck, but follow the directions on the can, they are soooooooo important, trust me cuz when it comes to your car, its gotta be done right, good luck
