Bore Injector

My 240sx engine is clicking/tapping. Help?

My 240sx is tapping/clicking when I turn the car on. When i rev up past 2000 and up It clicks or taps. Its not heavy just rapid. I unplugged my injector and it stops, I unplug that spark plug wire it stops. I'm thinking it could be a rod bearing that went out. Any suggestions?
Its as overhead cam, I don't think I have litters....:/ pain in my ass. Just wish for it to stop

SOHC/DOHC have lifters, dont kno why you think you dont.

Like everyone said rod bearings, main bearings usually
knock they dont tick. Injectors, lifters are the area to look,
althought lifters and injectors both make noise i hope their is
actually a problem keeping in mind they both tick normally.
