Brk Kit

i am getting my car fixed, and getting quotes, for my tire to be repaired, and my brakes fixed........?

and I am not sure as to what some of the things listed on the quote are, for instance: i have the rear brake drums, the brk shoe, and the tire patch kit, and I understand all of that, but what I dont understand is: MAXIPACK-- what is this and is it something I need? TY
I finally figured i can stop being a chicken, and ask the repair shop, and I was told that it is a "spring kit" for my brakes......... I still think it's something very odd...... thanks for the answers!

the maxipak is the hardware kit for the brake shoes. all the springs and clips. if they are original with a lot af miles replace them. as for the drums please get 2 opinions and measurements. unless you went metal to metal they may be able to be resurfaced. always get more than 1 estimate and specify the priority of repairs as to necessary or suggested. get it in writing and compare.
