Catback Exhaust
Which exhaust should I buy, catback or just muffler?
I'm looking at either an apexi ws2 catback exhaust or a apexi nior muffler. I like those because they are quiet. Now, does the catback reall make a difference? Is it worth the extra 300 dollars? I have a 2000 civic ex. I am looking to get the biggest increase in throttle response and power/torque.
A cat back exhaust will gain you hp but you will decrease torque because you are decreasing the back pressure.
A muffler is just a muffler with little to no performance.
Honda need horsepower. I see lots of honda flying off the line, beating my mustang/camaro*(i have both) off the line but when it comes to horsepower, they will start falling behind.
