Why are ceramic coated headers better regular ones?
Fox body mustang 5.0. Why are ceramic coated headers better than steel and stainless steel. Whats the difference. Also why are long tube headers better than the short ones. If it's just for exhaust restriction wouldn't it be better to have each cylinder have it's own pipe all the way to the rear of car. Not have each 4 into 1to h pipe then rear. Just trying to figure out how it works.

Read it all and you'll have a very basic idea. No such thing as back pressure really. It's pressure waves more correctly.
