Exhaust Muffler
07 mustang dual exhaust muffler removal question?
i have an 07 mustang 6 cylinder with dual exhaust and want to remove the mufflers and leave the cats.
does anyone know how much it would cost to remove the muffler and and i guess just weld some exhaust tubing and some tips on the end?

it would be best to simply install cutouts after the cats, and for a really nice look you can exhaust those through nice pipes right in front of the rear wheels.
electric cutouts are not expensive-can operate from inside the car to keep you perfectly legal....lots of different manufacturers-just search under electric exhaust cutouts.

if you want extreme-you can install the cutouts after the manifolds-before the cats, dump the exhaust straight from the engine.
