What size thread are the holes for glow plugs/diesel injectors?

Above gives rational for a leakdown test, and goes on to describes how to make a DIY leak-down tester for a petrol engine, but I'd need to get hold of adapter of the right size for a glow plug/injector to make one for a diesel. There's a nice shop I know which probably has such an item. I could take a glow plug out of the car, and get them to match it, but then it would be really awkward to get to the shop!
Really looking for the hole specs for a Astra 17DTL engine, but any other sizes would probably prove useful in the future.
