Monte Carlo
Any recommendations on a Monte Carlo engine swap?
I have a 96 Monte Carlo LS. I want more HP to the wheels. I've considered swapping the 3.1 V6 for a LS1 but that's gonna take a lot more work then it's worth. I'm leaning more towards the 3.4 V6, but I need suggestions to add hp once the swap is complete.
Hate to burst your bubble but don't bother.It will be to costly and will not be worth it.If you have excessive amounts of money to waste go ahead and put a Cadillac Northstar in it as the LS1 is for rear drive vehicles and will not work.Don't use the 3.4 it is a terrible engine design and will cost alot to repair.
